완석루가 군산 게스트하우스 “햇살이 가득한 집”(http://sunshinehome.alltheway.kr/)으로 변신.

2000년-2001년에 내가 설계하여, 2002년 하구뚝 근처에 지은 주택 완석루 덕분에, 2003년에 전북 건축문화상 금상을 받았다.

4인가족이 잘 살아왔으나, 자녀가 성장하여 집을 떠나게 되자, 집 주인은 다른 용도로 사용을 검토하던 중, 집 일부를 게스트하우스로 리모델링하여 운영하게 되었다.

원래, 이 주택이 시간이 흘러서 상황이 변하면, 갤러리나 펜션이나 노인 그룹홈 등으로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대했었다. 설계자 입장에서 게스트하우스로 활용이 성공하기를 빌어 본다.

월명산에 산책 나온 시민들.

쌀쌀한 날씨지만 햇빛이 따스한 오후 시간에 많은 시민들이 산책을 즐기고 있다.

나도 주말이면 자주 월명산에 산책가서 설림산을 오른다.

1시간 정도 걷고 집에 돌아오면 기분이 매우 상쾌해진다.
